Ventura hentet seg inn og sikret videre spill i North Carolina
Den norske golfproffen Kristoffer Ventura hevet spillet underveis på dag to i årets siste ordinære PGA-turnering. Han gikk runden tre slag under par og er klar for de to siste dagene.
Nordmannen leverte ujevnt spill første dag i Greensboro i North Carolina torsdag og lå på ett slag under par.
Fredag noterte 31-åringen seg to bogeyer. Men med fem birdier ble fasiten tre slag under par. Fire slag under par gir en delt 49.-plass så langt.
Cuten endte på tre slag under par, og dermed er nordmannen blant dem som får spille de to siste rundene.
Beau Hossler fra USA leder turneringen, tolv slag under par.
Ventura er for øyeblikket på 106.-plass på den liveoppdaterte sesonglista , og han må inn i topp 100 for å få fulle spillerettigheter på PGA-touren neste år.
Turneringen spilles i byen der Norges landslag i fotball hadde sin base under gruppespillet i sommerens VM.
