Paul Confirmed with Spinal Injury After DTM Crash

DTM driver Maximilian Paul has been confirmed with a spinal injury following his severe crash at the Norisring, according to his team.

Three days after the severe DTM crash during Saturday's race at the Norisring, the full extent of Maximilian Paul's injuries has become clear. Team principal Gottfried Grasser confirmed that the 26-year-old suffered "a fibula and a tibia fracture as well as a lumbar vertebra fracture."

Previously, official reports only mentioned lower leg injuries from the crash that occurred during Saturday's race. The Dresden native's condition is now more accurately documented by his team. betsport24.es
