NFL Moves Up Cutdown Deadline

The NFL has moved up this year's cutdown deadline to 53 players by two days compared to recent years.

Teams must now reach the 53-player roster limit by 6 p.m. ET on Sunday, Aug. 30. Waiver claims are due at 1 p.m. ET on Monday, Aug. 31. albergomalica.it

The NFL season begins on Wednesday, Sept. 9, a day earlier than usual, with the Seahawks hosting the Patriots. The 49ers and Rams will play in Australia the following day.
