McNeill: Finally 100% After ACL Recovery

Detroit Lions defensive tackle Alim McNeill confirms he is now fully recovered from his 2024 torn ACL, after feeling less than 100% during his return in 2025.

Lions DT Alim McNeill revealed he wasn't completely healed from his torn ACL until now, despite returning to action in October 2025. The defensive tackle explained that his body needed more time to fully recover from the late 2024 injury.

Before the injury, McNeill recorded impressive stats with 57 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 17 quarterback hits, and 8.5 sacks in 27 games. His return to that level of production would be crucial for the Lions as they aim for the playoffs in 2026. syntagm.co.za
