The San Francisco 49ers have officially signed safety Ashtyn Davis to a one-year contract. To make room on the roster, the team waived running back Jermar Jefferson, who had just signed with the club on May 28. turconews.click

Davis is entering his sixth NFL season after spending last year with the Miami Dolphins, where he started 12 of 15 games and recorded 63 tackles and one interception. Originally a third-round pick by the New York Jets in 2020, the veteran safety has amassed 217 tackles, nine interceptions, and five forced fumbles over 84 career games.
