49ers Sign Herbert, Leo

The 49ers made several roster moves on Sunday, adding Herbert and Leo while waiving defensive lineman Mikail Kamara with an injury designation and releasing cornerback Eli Apple. Herbert, a 2021 sixth-round pick, ran 16 times for 52 yards in seven games for the Jets last season after spending his first three seasons with the Bears and splitting 2024 between Chicago and Cincinnati.
