49ers coach Kyle Shanahan provided an update on defensive end Nick Bosa's knee rehab on Tuesday, noting the 28-year-old is "making a lot of progress." Bosa has not practiced since Aug. 3 due to soreness and tendinitis in his surgically repaired right knee.
Shanahan said Bosa has "a lot less irritation, soreness, and tendinitis" than last week and they believe he's going in the right direction, similar to Christian McCaffrey. Bosa injured his knee on Sept. 21 against the Cardinals and underwent surgery on Sept. 26. He has played only 17 games over the past two seasons, totaling 11 sacks. forumteam.blog
