New Seahawks Owner Defends Steelers Fandom

New Seahawks owner Vinod Khosla has defended his admission of being a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, calling criticism of his fandom 'a molehill into a mountain.'

During his first press conference after the Seahawks' sale was approved, Khosla admitted he remains a Steelers fan from his time at CMU in Pittsburgh from 1976-78. "What's wrong with admitting my 1976-78 period in Pittsburgh got me excited about the NFL? I still watch their games," Khosla wrote on Twitter. catcross.biz

"Doesn't mean I won't unconditionally ALWAYS as owner, want the Seahawks to win and have every edge up, EVERY TIME over every other team!!!! Zero questions!!!" he added, defending his position against criticism that he shouldn't admit to rooting for a rival team.
