Vikings Top Bucs 23-16, Mayfield Injured

The Vikings' defense dominated, sacking Mayfield six times and forcing an interception that sealed the victory late in the game. Mayfield injured his right thumb when it slammed into Vikings linebacker Blake Cashman after throwing the interception, forcing him to leave for the locker room.

Mayfield finished the game 17-of-34 for 217 yards and a touchdown, but his status is now uncertain for the 0-3 Buccaneers. Meanwhile, Vikings quarterback Kyler Murray struggled offensively after halftime, managing only 77 yards of offense, with the team's only touchdown coming on a 41-yard pass to Jordan Addison. sportnewz.click
