Parsons May Not Play Until November

Packers linebacker Micah Parsons is not expected to practice next week and may not be ready to play until November according to Tom Pelissero.

Parsons, who was ruled out for the first four games after being placed on the physically unable to perform list, is recovering from a torn ACL he suffered in Week 15 of last season. The injury occurred less than 10 months ago, and while he hasn't had any setbacks in his recovery, such injuries typically take close to a year to heal completely. biznow.biz

The Packers acquired Parsons in a blockbuster trade hoping to add the final piece for a Super Bowl run, but last season they were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs. Currently 1-2, the team faces questions about their playoff prospects with or without their star linebacker.
