New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu will miss the first four games of the 2026 season after suffering a left foot injury in the preseason finale against the Connecticut Sun.

Ionescu rolled her ankle driving to the basket in the third quarter of Sunday's game and was later seen wearing a walking boot. She is expected to be re-evaluated in two weeks. ipltable.lol
