Four former Iowa women's basketball players will begin WNBA action as the 2026 regular season kicks off this weekend.

Caitlin Clark leads the group of former Hawkeyes in the WNBA. The 2024 Rookie of the Year with the Indiana Fever opens her season on Saturday against the Dallas Wings. Clark was limited to just 13 games last season but appears healthy for a potential bounce-back campaign. catcross.biz

The other former Iowa players include Megan Gustafson (Portland Fire), Kate Martin (Golden State Valkyries), and Lucy Olsen (Washington Mystics). Each team will begin their regular season on either Friday or Saturday, with games broadcast on networks including ABC, NBA TV, and ION.
