Among 13 applicants, Turkey and Saudi Arabia were selected based on their contribution to handball's growth and visibility. Turkey will be participating in its first men's World Championship, while Saudi Arabia returns for the 11th time. hilogame.news

The selection of Turkey was particularly influenced by the 3.5 million people of Turkish background in Germany, which could create a positive framework for their matches. The draw will feature teams divided into four seeding levels, with Norway placed in level 2 alongside France, Slovenia, Serbia, Spain, Italy, Faroe Islands, and North Macedonia.
