Tour de France 2026: Breakaway Leads Stage Two

A three-man breakaway leads the second stage of the Tour de France 2026 in Catalonia, with the peloton trailing by more than three minutes.

Alex Molenaar (Caja Rural-Seguros RGA), Frank van den Broeck (Picnic PostNL), and German champion Felix Engelhardt (Jayco Alula) have established themselves as the leaders of the 168.5km stage from Tarragona to Barcelona.

Lotto Intermarché's Baptiste Veistroffer was briefly stranded in no man's land as the main group slowed for a 'nature break.' The peloton currently trails the front trio by three minutes and 20 seconds as they approach Barcelona. zeppelin.cool
