Tour de France Stage 3 Without Fans Due to Wildfire Threat

Tour de France stage three will proceed without spectators as wildfires threaten the region. The 195.5km route from Granollers to Les Angles presents opportunities for attackers on challenging climbs.

The third stage of the Tour de France will be held without fans due to an ongoing wildfire threat. The 195.5km route from Granollers to Les Angles features a category-one climb at Col de Toses (9.3km at 6.5%) and a challenging finale with Col du Calvaire near Font-Romeu and a final 1.5km climb to Les Angles at seven percent gradient.

According to Tour technical director Thierry Gouvenou, this stage is "perfect for the attackers" with significant opportunities for both stage wins and a potential yellow jersey change. The race will start at 11.10am BST/12.10pm CET, despite the absence of spectators in the affected areas. liveiplscore.homes
