NCAA Investigates Cincinnati Over Sorsby Gambling

The NCAA has opened a formal inquiry into the University of Cincinnati regarding former quarterback Brendan Sorsby's gambling issues during his two seasons with the program.

The NCAA sent an official letter of inquiry to Cincinnati asking what the university knew about Sorsby's gambling activities. Sorsby was declared permanently ineligible by the NCAA in April after placing thousands of impermissible sports bets over four years, including at least 165 bets totaling $38,000 in 2024.

After transferring from Indiana to Cincinnati in 2024, Sorsby's stock soared as he threw for 5,613 yards with 45 touchdowns. He later transferred to Texas Tech before being banned by the NCAA. Sorsby sued but later dropped his legal battle and applied for the NFL's supplemental draft. milkshakeslot.com
