The San Francisco 49ers have signed former first‑round pick Deebo Samuel to a one‑year, up to $7 million deal, marking his return after a brief stint with the Washington Commanders.

The 30‑year‑old wideout, who last played for the 49ers in 2024 before being traded to Washington, will add depth to a receiver corps that now includes veterans Mike Evans and Christian Kirk, and rookie De’Zhaun Stribling.
