Kjell Arve Husby passed away on Thursday at Oppdal Health Center, his family confirmed to the newspaper Opp. The 72-year-old coach had a distinguished career in athletics, with his greatest achievement coming in 1996 when he trained Vebjørn Rodal to win gold in the 800 meters at the Atlanta Olympics.
