Chiefs Restore Arrowhead Stadium Name

The Kansas City Chiefs have officially restored the iconic Arrowhead Stadium name, reverting from GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium after the naming rights deal never resonated with fans.

The home of the Kansas City Chiefs will once again be known simply as Arrowhead Stadium. The team announced that the venue has shed its official name after GEHA agreed to using the classic, simplified name. hilogame.news

The Chiefs and GEHA signed a naming rights deal in 2021 that resulted in the name change, but it never stuck among fans. Even during the World Cup when FIFA renamed it "Kansas City Stadium," everyone continued to refer to it as Arrowhead. The Chiefs will continue playing at Arrowhead until their lease expires in 2031.
