Dodgers Start Skubal in NLDS Game 1 vs Braves

Skubal, acquired midseason from Detroit, will make his postseason debut despite initial struggles after joining the two-time defending World Series champions. The left-handed ace finished the regular season 3-2 with a 2.52 ERA in eight starts for the Dodgers. ipltable.lol

The Dodgers (93-60) are in the postseason for the 14th consecutive season, tying the Braves' record. With Skubal likely to be a top free agent this winter, his start could allow Yoshinobu Yamamoto or Blake Snell to start Game 2. The Braves' starter remains uncertain, with Chris Sale a possibility after pitching in both Game 2 and Game 3 of their wild-card series.
